As a Civil Project Leader within the manucipality of Vlissingen I oversee and manage the planning, design tendering phase and construction of infrastructure projects. Civil Projecs include various roads, sewage pipe lines, utilities and often form part of public works. My duties are: managing the planning, control, execution and communication on projects of all sizes and complexities. As a Civil Project leader I need to collaborate with a diverse team of professionals, such as architects, engineers and work planners to ensure that projects run smoothly and adhere to regulations and quality standards.

As an environmental manager I am responsible for ensuring that projects adheres to all environmental regulations and guidelines. When it comes to conservation this position requires a broad knowledge of communicational skills. As well as an ability to communicate clearly with both employees and external stakeholders.

As a project controller I monitor, coordinate, and control a project from start to finish. As a member of the project team I work directly with the project manager to help define the project's goals and objectives. Duties are create and maintain a project's budget and schedule, analyse progress and recommend actions to improve progress. An important part of this function is document control between our company and the client. This to ensure the project team is working with the right information.

Drawing 3D models for logistic companies to simulate their future plans. Making an animation or simulation in 3D helps them in the decision making process of investing in a more efficient and profitable warehouse.

Travelled through New Zealand and Australia as an independent traveller. On the way I have worked in unique local businesses such as busdriver for Mt. Hutt ski resort on the South Island of NZ. In Australia I worked for a local family on their cattle station in the middle of the Northern Territory (red centre of Australia). Thanks to these experiences I've grown in skills as, languages, selfconfidence, solution orientation, social skills and open mindedness.

As a QAQC officer within the industry of oil refineries I make sure that the quality assurance and quality control meet the customers requirements. It means that I check the welds with NDT (nondestructive testing) and the materials (certifications) and set up a qualityplan for projects and turnarounds where we prove that the company and people are certified to do their work.

During this traineeship of a year I fist learned skills needed for a position as project leader. In this role I was responsible for communication and follow up with clients about specific projects and their goals. Bilfinger Industrial Services (BIS) delivers maintanence and services in the chemical industry.

As showroom consultant I welcomed clients and help them with the process of finding the right car. My responsibilities were maintaining the sales area and ensuring that activities in the showroom run smoothly.

During my graduation project I evaluate the purchasing department of GBS. The goal of the project is to indicate whether the company is able to achieve improvements in purchasing policy.

As a car mechanic I was working on maintaining and repairing cars. I also learned to accurately diagnose problems and advice clients about car mechanics and safety. What attracted me in this job were rapid changes in car technology. Every new model had new technical devices that interested me. I started to work for this company as a trainee. After my traineeship I got a full time job.
