About Rob Van Der Woude

Hi! I'm Rob, Chief Tax Officer at Fonoa.We're entering an era of Real-Time Compliance, with Digital Reporting and eInvoicing taking over the world. More & Faster compliance requirements Everywhere means 'manual', 'ad-hoc' and 'after-the fact' tax work is becoming impossible. My job is to help people working in tax discover how modern tax technology can help them move towards a low-to-no-touch tax lifecyle. Help teams get ready for the Future of Tax, and move towards real-time analytics and predictive intel to drive business value. I try to find and hire the best current and future rockstars in tax technology to help build that technology.I’ve learned how fun, innovating and challenging working in tax can be from my in-house time at Uber, scaling from a "small" 150 people company active in a handful of countries -> to a truly global 60k people org. I’ve done a bunch of standard tax stuff before that, to get to call myself a ‘tax professional’.Next to tax & tax technology, I'll occasionally share lessons I find on my other passions like health, fitness, longevity, productivity hacks & mental models. Basically things anyone can use or adopt to improve their life’s!
