Do you recognize this from when you were young?: "I will never do what my dad does for a living!" He worked as a ready mix concrete QC expert at CRH. Well, here I am with over 30 years of experience in the concrete industry with a mechanical engineering background (still very useful). You can always check-in at the concrete industry, but you can never checkout :-) Basically fulfilled all the roles you can think of; batcher, dispatcher, planner, job site coordinator, QC expert, truck driver, sales rep, and plant manager. No surprise I am a very hands-on person always looking for a solution to solve whatever problem. And now I use all this experience at Command Alkon for our customers to improve their business. Together with a great team of coworkers we managed to grow our footprint in the Netherlands and Belgium from small to market leader by being creative and a strong drive to be the best.
