My achievements so far include:• Created new meet & greet procedure for all on site admin and agency employees. • Designed and implemented trilingual new arrivals orientation (English, Kazakh & Russian).• Produced and developed regular high level reports for senior project leadership detailing the status of on boarding and rotational travel.• Improved the safety and security of all new hires by producing travel guides and improving visibility of all project representatives and signage.• Audited and identified issues at critical transit points and introduced solutions to solve these issues resulting in reduced travel times and improved wellbeing of employees. • Improved the site PPE issuing policy and issuing logistics. Reduced the non-active time of new employees, thus reducing costs to the project.• Implemented and managed site tours for new hires on the largest project site in the world. • Created new hire and rotational travel survey to gather valuable data to help improve the on boarding and rotational travel process.• Created a best practice guide and trained hiring managers on how to onboard new staff.• Managed and continuously developed local staff to encourage the nationalization on the on-boarding function.• Coordinated with multiple project departments and numerous outside agencies to gain traction in auditing, standardising and improving the on-boarding function. English was not the main language for many of these departments and agencies so this required high levels of diplomacy, tact and clear communication.• Created KPI’s to enable the measurement of the effectiveness of new solutions and improvements.• Documented and presented on-boarding program to all FGP Tengiz PMT personnel to provide knowledge of what is required of a newcomer within in their first rotation on site. Provided support to the team leader in developing strategies, maintaining the morale of the group and making key decisions in high-pressured situations.• Second in command of a Royal Marine team operating to deter, prevent and repress acts of piracy and armed robbery of the coast of Somalia. Played a key part in intelligence gathering and evidence handling in the search and boarding of vessels of interest.• Planned and coordinated numerous company level (50+ service personnel) exercises. Managed the efficient movement of both equipment and men during the exercises. Devised emergency medical evacuation procedures, drafted exercise safety plans and briefed participants.• Trained 400 service personnel on crucial pre-deployment chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear defense and procedures. • Delivered heavy weapons and combat rifle training to over 200 service personnel.• Qualified trauma risk management practitioner: Delivered psychological support to peers suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder and other traumatic stress related health disorders. Involved conducting specialised risk assessments following traumatic incidents. Trained in trauma psychology, active listening skills and delivering educational briefs.• Dedicated team medic on operations to Afghanistan, the Philippines and Africa. • Obtained a European Computer Driving License (ECDL), a globally recognised information communication technology and digital literacy qualification.
