 Coordinated all aspects of the Quality Control System for a carbon fiber manufacturing plant producing $300 Million in sales per year of aerospace grade material. Streamlined and created new systems for Receiving Quality Control and Testing of all raw materials. Planned and instituted new systems to improve customer complaint response resulting in a reduction of 50% to open complaints. Created an easy to use system for tracking “one off” defects to analyze macro level trends.o Data tracking was used to implement continuous improvement projects across the site and then to compile data for continuous analysis at regular intervals.o Tracking System was recognized as a “Best Practice” across the global company. Implemented “Quality Champion” program providing for an in-place Quality Representative for each production shift. This program resulted in greater accountability and effectiveness on the production lines and a 25% advancement rate for participants. Designed and delivered all Quality Training for 600 employees and all newly hired employees.  Consolidated all quality related data to build reports on weekly, monthly and yearly basis. Maintained a strong quality presence and function during period of departmental transition with the loss of 5 quality personnel until suitable replacements were found.

 Co-Developed a new RV furnace system design that resulted in enhanced safety and efficiency. Assisted in the completion of a monthly quality assurance testing program. Fabricated new and experimental parts to test design concepts. Designed and built a clear acrylic test unit to understand air flow in the new furnace system. Consulted and worked with nationally acclaimed air flow dynamics expert to finalize furnace design.

 Completed Nuclear Electronics Technician Training in top percentile of the most academically demanding course in the US Military. Reported to USS Dwight D. Eisenhower as a Nuclear Technician. Completed Additional Training onboard. Managed 15 sailors as Nightshift Supervisor coordinating ship support operations, serving an average of 6,000 ship and airwing personnel. Improved average turnaround time for service completion and return to the division from 6 days to 24 hours. Recognized by senior military personnel for leadership strengths including mentoring and motivating underperforming sailors.
