Rob has been on the leading edge (sometimes "bleeding edge") of utility and industrial energy development for more than 40 years. It has been a long, winding and very interesting road. Never really knowing what's around the next bend, but working to be most prepared to make the best of whatever opportunity was presented. During that time he has crossed paths with many hundreds of energy industry professionals and grown from each of those interactions. Most of the relationships have been very positive and lifelong personal and professional bonds are the result. A few of the relationships have been not so positive and very important learnings have also been born from those. As an entrepreneur he was a co-founder and Chief Strategy Officer for Magnum Development for over 17 years. During that time other Magnum company spin off sales and joint ventures took place creating asset values in the many hundreds of millions of dollars. The major remaining company, ACES-Delta is now primarily involved in the development of a hydrogen energy hub focused around seasonal underground salt cavern storage adjacent to the Intermountain Power Project near Delta, Utah. ACES-Delta is a joint venture between Mitsubishi Power Americas and Magnum Development which was acquired by Chevron New Energies in September 2023.Rob has closed the Magnum Development chapter of his life and is moving forward with opening a new initiative entitled Next Chapter Adventures. He is still looking for exciting growth and not know exactly what's around the next bend but ... more prepared than ever to take it on.
