Aug 2009 - Jan 2011Columbus, Indiana, Us• Extensive use of the ENVOIA MatrixOne PLM solution and Java (J2EE) 6 development.• Implemented a new logging framework to allow remote monitoring of our production application servers: This provided real-time error detection and increased traceability of the applications.• Lead the implementation of a new sub-component for the “Work Request” system: This was designed to increase data accuracy, efficiency and traceability within the Engineering Department when testing parts.• Lead the local implementation of a “Time Recording” system: This project was designed to increase utilisation within the Laboratory operations department by 5%, saving an estimated 460,000 USD per year.• Was involved in an ongoing efficiency–improvement project, successfully decreasing report times on our Application servers from 45 minutes to 10 seconds in several areas; drastically increasing the productivity ofour users.• Lead a project to standardise our coding practises: This was focused around how applications were developed, which toolkits were used and where code was stored in order to decrease development time,provide better scalability, maintainability and efficiency.
