• Designed and developed a customer facing content, billing and service management web application for the Presto Printing Mailbox computerless email service.• Designed and developed an automated news, article and comic content sourcing and layout service for the delivery of printed pages to the Presto Printing Mailbox.• Designed and developed customer service web applications used internally to resolve device connectivity, billing and delivery issues.• Lead and managed many projects related to billing, telephony, customer analysis, data migration and virtualization.• Managed multiple service releases for Presto’s various web applications and device management infrastructure.

• Member of the engineering team acquired from Placeware Inc. which developed the LiveMeeting web based collaboration system. Microsoft Office LiveMeeting is a highly scaled, multi-tiered system which accommodates millions of minutes of use per month.• Development lead on the LiveMeeting product focused on; UI development, localization, and email invitations.• Lead the transition of sustained engineering for the LiveMeeting web application to our development team in India. I was responsible for training a number of engineers and helping the project management team in India develop their first product release plans.• Developed a highly scalable, data driven commerce system for the sale and management of online Microsoft Office services. This system required integration with a number of external properties; Passport, MSN and Omniture.

• Advanced Placeware’s web collaboration product “Conference Center 2000” to a scalable platform. Conference Center allowed customers to schedule, manage and attend online meetings with up to 2000 attendees without firewall restrictions. The product was multi-tiered with a strong emphasis on a separation of UI and back-end store. Enterprise JavaBeans were used to enforce this separation. My primary areas of focus were; UI development, localization, accessibility, and security.• Placeware was acquired by the Microsoft Corporation in March of 2003. I moved to Redmond Washington to continue working on what became Microsoft Office LiveMeeting.

• Maintained, and developed new applications for the free homepages service at GO.com. Managed a group of engineers and worked closely with project management to design new applications. Solved many complex problems related to managing a user base of over one million.• Managed a team of engineers to development of a Java/C++ based chat system for GO.com, ESPN.com, and ABCNews.com.

• Developed the font reporting and verification code for the Adobe Type Manager Deluxe product. Designed and developed utilities to convert fonts between various formats. Developed and managed the international resources and production tools. Developed custom product installers for two platforms and twelve international languages. Extensive exposure to Japanese product development.• Developed C based tools to compare font metrics of various font formats. Developed harnesses for stress testing font rendering services. Created a set of API acceptance tools used after product builds. Developed a multi platform (Macintosh and Unix) build process during the development of the first PowerPC products.

• Provided regression testing and automated scripting for the first PowerPC file server products.• Did qualification testing for various SCSI storage devices on the Power Macintosh.
