Founder / Director Of Sales And Marketing
With brands including Shepherd Films video production, MX Video distribution, PointX video production and the world famous PointXCamp action sports training facility this was a very exciting time for me.Action sport was in its infancy with the inauguration of the ESPN X-Games starting in 1995 and I had the privilege of attending and filming the very first freestyle motocross competition ever. We also designed and built the first Mega Ramp with Danny Way, wow! Some of our notable video and television projects include Travis Pastrana's first full-length video, "Revelation 199", the BMX road-trip movie "How I Wasted My Summer" and of course the amazing "Mini Warriors" Series, still a classic in the genre. Segments were also produced and sold to ESPN, NBC Gravity Games, Invert TV, Blue Torch TV and many more.Although it feels like another lifetime, becoming a talented videographer, photographer, editor and graphic designer both in digital and film formats has served me well as a creative professional. I became a talented producer & storyteller who was able to provide entertaining content as well as journalistically driven pieces for magazines and online publication. The planning of the story as well as the months of production were often more rewarding than the final piece. The last part of this chapter was amazing, helping run the PointXCamp Summer camp, what an amazing 260 acre facility, amazing staff, excited kids, life enhancing experience for all! Living at camp during the Summers was amazing as well, sitting by the lake a night and biking around the facilities was so great.Years of computer experience in editing video and photography, creating our own online & print materials, making websites before CMS platforms, plus marketing during the web 1.0 into modern 2.0 times, has given me the solid foundation that I have build my executive marketing and creative career on.
