At an early age, Rob began working for his family’s construction business, Reeves Williams Builders, as a licensed residential and commercial contractor building homes throughout North Mississippi and West Tennessee. Rob created Best Bilt Systems, which was an innovative building component plant changing the methods of construction of homes and commercial buildings in the Mid-South. Throughout these years of experience, he identified the unique financial planning needs and challenges of business owners firsthand, particularly the demanding cash flow strategies needed in construction, and he discovered his true passion—providing financial planning expertise to help fellow business owners succeed.

As a commercially licensed pilot, Rob piloted and managed an aircraft for his companies and leasing operations. He also managed and operated an FAA certified warehouse in Memphis and an office in Shenzhen, China supplying aviation parts for airlines in Asia.

Rob quickly grew Best Bilt into the area’s largest building component manufacturers by developing and implementing component framing systems for residential home construction in Mississippi and West Tennessee. Best Bilt built wooden structures for homes, apartments, restaurants and buildings by predesigning, organizing and building much of it in the factory before the job is headed to the field. The packages are brought out on trucks where the pieces are assembled according to our drawings like a jigsaw puzzle.Best Bilt designed, stocked and distributed building components and engineered beams and accessories including roof and floor systems, engineered wood and i-joists. Rob spent time promoting engineered wood products to designers, architects and engineers which included teaching continuing education classes for engineers.

As a licensed residential and commercial contractor, Reeves Williams Builders constructed over two thousand homes in North Mississippi and West Tennessee. Reeves Williams was the largest residential homebuilding and land development company in Mississippi and a member of the country’s Top 100 Homebuilding Companies. Rob began working for Reeves Williams Builders his family's construction business in high school. By building and operating his building components plant Best Bilt Systems, he helped develop and transform the methods of construction for homes and commercial buildings in his area and serviced jobs from the Gulf Coast to Southern Illinois. Rob served as the President of the North Mississippi homebuilders Association, as well as a local, state and national director of the National Association of Homebuilders. Rob was also an active member of the Structural Building Components Association and the Associated Builders and Contractors. Rob remains as a partner in a land development company in North Mississippi.
