As an early employee (4th engineer), I've been involved with many aspects of engineering (organization, product, platform, data, infrastructure) as we've scaled our product offerings, technology stack, and organization to support growing our member base from < 1MM to more than 100MM members.In my final 1.5yrs I was focused on bootstrapping our UK expansion efforts (via acquisition) as head of engineering in country, splitting my time between London and Leeds, as we built out the team and business as well as launched a new product and infrastructure stack.Career progression with CK: advanced to Staff Software Engineer before transitioning to a management track and progressing to Sr Director.

Joined First Data as a back-end software engineer for the Account Services - Check Processing division, focusing on storage warehouse systems. Progressed to manager & lead engineer of the back-end applications & maintenance team, as well as manager of the associated front-end development team.
