-Oversee global Payroll strategy and day to day operations to enable an efficient, consistent, and compliant payroll function.-Accountable for all aspects of payroll, including external payroll vendor management, executed locally by in-region HR and our payroll partners.-Responsible for project management of remaining payroll country implementations; provide oversight, expertise and reporting.-Develops and maintains policies and procedures related to the Payroll department along with being the in-house technical “expert” relating to all payroll matters and compliance matters

-Providing training, development, and coaching to the Payroll Administrators and serve as a subject matter expert and point of contact for escalation and ad hoc request that arise from the business.-Partner with the business and respective HR Business Partner and to ensure any changes in business policies with respect to pay, such as overtime, paid time off, and holidays, are appropriately updated and configured in ADP and compliant with any state/local requirements.-Partner with HR Business partners to consider implications of business unit activities and payroll needs and determine the appropriate course of action on operational, processing or subject matter issues or situations.-Manage the registration process for state and local tax jurisdiction across multiple FEIN’s, including the registration in new jurisdictions, as well as transfers and closures of withholding accounts due to mergers and acquisitions.-Review agency tax notices and take appropriate corrective action for resolution in collaboration with our payroll tax vendor; maintain and update of all SUI rate changes in ADP Smart Compliance portal.Manage adjustment payroll processes, including out of sequence payroll, multi-jurisdiction wage adjustments, 3rd party sick pay reporting. Responsible for the quarterly and annual Wage and Tax -----Register review and reconciliation for multiple FEIN’s.Manage and execute various operational tasks to ensure interfaces are functioning properly. Include the daily review of the ADP data bridge; the entry and maintenance as needed of new hires and/or employee changes in the system; troubleshooting data discrepancies that impact pay and identify solutions in partnership with local HRIS team.

-Analyze and resolve payroll issues related to tax, general accounting, regulatory requirements, benefits, time reporting, and labor agreement matters.-Proactively assess needs of the payroll department - Identify, analyze, and recommend business processes, and system enhancements for continuous improvement of the payroll process.-Develop, run, and review audit reports to ensure accuracy of payroll data.-Process manual checks, voids, stop pays, direct deposit reversals, and payroll adjustments as necessary.-Ensure payroll systems and processes are appropriately set up to remain compliant with country, state, and local regulatory legislation related to payroll.-Develop and maintain payroll-related content for Employee Services Knowledge Base.-Perform testing support of payroll system patches and upgrades.-Assist Sr Payroll Manager and Payroll Manager with research and compliance of U.S. regulations pertaining to labor and tax laws affecting employee paychecks.-Document and update departmental policies and procedures as needed.-Perform various audits and review schedules of employee data.-Payroll processing and Time and Attendance for multiple pay groups in Workday Payroll for U.S. multi-state hourly and salaried employees.-Work with third party vendors to ensure payrolls are accurately completed per payroll schedules for employees in the US.-Coordinate closely with Payroll Accounting teams.
