This included implementation of 2 finance systems within 6 months after quickly assessing the initial system was not fit for purpose, identifying a more suitable option and switching within 3 months• Streamlined internal finance processes to create efficiencies including an updated Joy finance manual to reflect new systems and processes• Implementation of regular Balance Sheet reporting and review cycle along with simplifying the chart of accounts to reduce the reliance on external accountants and reduce accounting fees by more than 50%• Assessing the skills, strengths and working preferences of the current finance team to redistribute responsibilities• Providing key finance support to the GM and Principals to enable informed decision making

Key responsibilities include:• APAC lead for global project team (reporting to International CFO in NYC) focussed on process and structural improvements across the Viacom International Finance organisation• ANZ lead for implementation of new FP&A shared service structure across APAC• Reviewed budget and forecast cycles and outputs for improvement Key achievements:• Developed and implemented a change management strategy to ensure a smooth transition of FP&A services from Australia to Singapore • Managed and facilitated process mapping workshop for International Finance team (40 members across USA, Europe and APAC)• Created draft process map and framework of the annual budget and forecasting cycles to be validated by attendees at the workshop
