Since 2010 i have been soley responsible for the development and implementation of potable water compliance as part of the Drinking Water Quality Management Plan for Fortescue Metals Group across all mine sites and camps. This includes daily service deliveries of all components of the drinking water operations, ensuring the facilities are maintained in accordance with company and statutory regulations and providing technical input to determine and solve operational problems. Developing site specific Drinking Water Quality Management Modules required by the Department of Health. Fortescue Metals is one of the leading mining companies to provide the DoH with these modules and received recognition for my involvement in this process. A key responsibility to this role is quarterly reporting to the Department of Health on water quality and improvement plans as per the Drinking Water Quality Management Plan and site Modules. To ensure all site data is available for reporting purposes i have driven a 2 year project for the configuration of an online data system which is used for all laboratory and field data, this has become an imperative system for Infrastructure reporting and risk management.
