Project Manager, Gsahs Community Health & Outpatient Care Information ProjectGreater Southern Area Health Service Dec 2007 - Dec 2008Cooma Nsw12month secondmentGSAHS was chosen to be the first pilot site for implementing the State CHOCIP initiative. My role was to develop, plan and implement a project plan to move all Community Health & other Non-admitted services from paper registration onto electronic client registration via iPM. This would ensure all patients were allocated an Area Unique Identifier (AUID) thus compliance with DoH Policy Directive 2007_094 Client Registration Policy.This project extended into one Site piloting the iPM Outpatient Appointment Module for Community Health clinics.During the project, there was close liaison with the State CHOCIP Project Manager.This project was successful - it met all deliverables within the stipulated timeframes. The project was used at State level to demonstrate the benefits of replacing paper with electronic systems thus enabling CHOCIP data elements to be extracted from the IT systems.

Duties included forms design, admitted patient data reporting & error correction to Dept of health, clinical coding, medicolegal, health record logistics, WinPAS (now know as iPM) system administration.This role took in Hospital and Community Health records management.Reprentative on various State forums - Coding Advisory Committee, Inpatient Statistics Collection (now know as Admitted Patient Data), WinPAS User Group.
