About Robyn Mackay

I am an HR Manager, learning and development specialist, and HR generalist and coach with over 20 years experience within large corporates and professional services firms. I previously managed the HR and Learning teams in the not-for-profit disabilities sector, as HR & Learning Development Manager, and was Learning and Development Manager at KPMG New Zealand for past 3 years. Other career highlights have included 6 years training front-line staff and managers at Air New Zealand, 3.5 years with in Management Consulting with Deloitte, and 6 years in internal professional development leadership roles at both PwC and Deloitte. I am strongly customer focused and continuous improvement driven, and am regarded by both peers and clients as a warm, personable and invested team member, a supportive and encouraging leader, and an engaging facilitator. I enjoy the challenge of finding and creating innovative solutions, and engaging the talents of a high-functioning team to achieve great people capability outcomes and build organisational culture. I am strongly invested in building Inclusion, Diversity and Equity inside organisations, and in building a coaching leadership culture.My particular skills include leading and coaching teams for high performance, developing great people leaders, developing and facilitating blended learning solutions and training events, leadership, change management and outplacement support, presentation and pitch coaching, customer service, etc.I have a Masters Degree (MCom, 2010, First Class Hons), in HR & Change Leadership, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Education from the University of Auckland. I am currently completing ICF Coaching Accreditation, and am also accredited in a range of psychometric tools (incl. SHL/OPQ, OPRA, and others). I'm also a passionate advocate for people with learning differences and disabilities, and for building equitable and inclusive workplaces.
