I'm in my second last year of Recreational Therapy at Mohawk College. My goal is to become a recreational therapist for children and seniors to help improve their quality of life and to help them achieve their goals. I love to help others and bring joy into their lives because nothing beats seeing a smile on some ones face. I'm a very positive out going person who will always have a smile no matter what and who will always put people's needs first.When I'm not at school I work as a Lifeguard and Swimming instructor for the town of Oakville and for Blue Mountain. I teach swimming lessons to all ages from babies to adults and I also get to teach aqua adapts. That's where any person who has a disability can do one on one lessons and get the direct attention that's needed. I have been a swimming instructor for 7 years, it is one of my passions. It makes me so happy to see everyone become amazing swimmers and gain courage to succeed. I love how I help improve their quality of life by helping them exercise and by giving them a place of relaxation and an the ability to become independent.
