This role involves running sailing tuition and has seen me solely in charge of the safe running of the day’s activities, teaching from beginner level through to race training and running instructor training and team building sessions for the Trust.This role was initially as a part time Senior Instructor and became full time in 2016 as the lead instructor for the Trust

This role has involved managing up to 26 staff and co-ordinating the day to day running of the store. I was also acting store manager during December 2012 to cover paternity leave. Staff and stock management, clear and concise communication, customer service (from both myself and my team) and business focus have been essential to being successful in this role at a high turnover and high pressue store.Responsibilities include; • Assisting in long term planning for the store• Managing a large team• Coordinating campaign changeover’s and sale implementation• Stock audit management• Stock management • Merchandising • KPI building

This position managed the day to day running and safety of the sailing school with up to 30 children and 10 adult clients per day at peak times. Staff management of a team of up to 15 staff, the safe running of the school, liaising with customers and taking bookings were all under the remit of my job alongside teaching.
