 Responsible for the management and development of 3 full time web developers and various project dependent consultants. Annual department budget of $325,000 plus additional per project budgets. Set the strategic direction of GroupWare development within Bestfoods based on Corporate IT Strategy. Liaise with the Global IT Technology Advisory Group in order to remain aware of and participate in global applications or IT initiatives. Project Manager and Lead Developer of trio of highly secure databases to house all NA Product Raw Materials and Formulations. Responsible for the development, maintenance and growth of the Corporate Intranet. Member of team chartered with selecting global web hosting provider for all Bestfoods Internet sites and a primary web development firm to support Bestfoods.com and 6 brand web sites which were being migrated from a small hosting and development provider. Interviewed and rated major hosting providers and developers based on selection criteria developed with Deloitte Consulting. Responsible for working with development company to test and migrate sites from a dual NT/Unix platform to NT. Worked with development company and global strategic teams to develop web design guidelines that would be used by global brands (initially Knorr and Hellmann’s) for all Internet web sites.
