While caring for my family during the COVID-19 pandemic, I juggled virtual schooling with freelance work – serving diverse clients by crafting quality content and advising on strategy.

I worked with the organization to produce all aspects of a Ribbon Cutting and Dedication Ceremony for The Hallow, a therapeutic property built to help youth 11 to 17 who have been rescued from human trafficking. Working on this project sparked a deep sense of obligation and new passion to help these youth — and others like them — who have had their childhoods stolen.

I started and formalized a robust development program from scratch to garner new support from donors. By innovating new methods of connecting with a wider audience, I was able position these brands as market leaders and capture attention from a large base of potential donors. While I focused on strategy, I was also working on the details – including web design, new marketing materials, volunteer staff training, direct mail campaigns, and donor management software upgrades.

I am proud of the work I did to boost donations and support by introducing a metrics-driven approach to multi-tiered marketing and donor investment programming. Through hands-on team leadership, I was able to optimize internal and external communication, strengthen advertising and public relations efforts, and secure record-level funding.

This role allowed me to advise clients all over the region on best practices for PR strategies, brand optimizations, communications plans, expanded funding, and marketing campaigns. I guided a team of freelance professionals to create quality content and collateral while also planning and executing large-scale fundraising and engagement events.

This non-profit organization was a huge passion of mine, and it was an honor to launch it. I opened 5 field offices, hired new staff, and attracted and onboarded a full Board of Directors to carry out the mission and vision.

With a presence in nearly 20 countries at the time, I travelled the world to develop a holistic strategy to foster corporate image improvements.
