As a volunteer, I have an opportunity to make a difference in the lives of animals in need. I have the privilege of joining a team that provides love, care and attention to dogs, cats and other companion animals who may have been abandoned or lost, helping them feel safe and secure while they wait for their forever homes.I have recently joined the Behaviour Assessment Team and I am excited for the opportunity to broaden my skill set, learning from a very experienced team who love what they do.Being a volunteer gives me a sense of purpose and is a firsthand teacher of the true meaning of compassion. I am grateful for the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of animals in need but the most rewarding part of volunteering is knowing a companion animal has found their new family and is starting their new life.
