In my current and previous roles, I have proven my ability to lead and influence at all levels to facilitate work operations and show sensitivity around change implementation that may affect all stakeholders, including staff and patients. As a first point of contact I endeavour to build cooperative and lasting relationships with stakeholders and colleagues within and outside of Government departments to maintain credibility and confidence. Establishing links is also crucial to providing the best service for our clients. I have worked within a variety of Queensland Health Departments and feel I am skilled at understanding and providing practical and business relevant advice to meet the needs of my workplace and customers.I am a confident and effective communicator with well-developed interpersonal and negotiation skills, which I believe fosters ongoing professional partnerships with stakeholders. My highly adaptable style of communication allows me to interact with a wide array of audiences.I communicate with people from diverse backgrounds including professionals; people with disabilities; retirees; indigenous and ethnic groups; homeless; youth and students. Within this context, I continually modify my communication strategies so as to be easily understood by all parties. It is often necessary to express difficult concepts and procedures in a manner, which can be quickly and easily understood by people who have little experience of technical jargon.
