LEAAP Program- Leading and Engagement in Antiracist & Anti-Oppression Practice. In collaboration with our Executive Director, I build out professional learning opportunities in identified program areas to support personal and professional learning emphasizing anti-oppressive thinking and antiracist practice. Learning areas include lectures and workshops, cultural and arts events, literary- books & research, symposiums, online learning, and community-engaged clinical experiences.I also support key stakeholders to assist with identification of gaps for regulatory and accreditation compliance in preparation for survey readiness for an acute care hospital. I provide support in developing processes to provide the highest level of care, treatment, services and patient safety in our hospital. My understanding of the importance of compliance with The Joint Commission Elements of Performance and Center of Medicare/Medicaid Services Condition of Participation helps me ensure patient safety to reduce adverse outcomes.
