My professional background is rooted in communications and the arts - with a toolbox in commercial stills, television, TV commercials, film pre-production and production. The sum result is a solid understanding of all aspects of a project's development across multiple formats. As an author - with over 200 published articles in print and on the web - my job is to engage an audience with a good read. In my process I have developed an online presence in social media platforms. My big picture objective is to keep evolving my skill set in the storytelling craft - drawing from my background in managing TV commercials and promos, special events and special projects as well as my writing skills at regional magazines. It is because I love what I do that I want to establish a career path that merges writing and producing across all communication channels to push boundaries with quality teams in the communications galaxy. Being a nature lover, I returned to school to complete my second undergraduate degree in environmental studies, providing a foundation to give back to my community on environmental matters. I thrive in the garden and enjoy creating with flowers for family and friends. I believe the process of creating brings out the best in people. I believe life is about creating---creating yourself and creating for others. Remembering to bring that fun factor into the journey too.
