I graduated of the University of Houston in 2010, where I completed a Bachelor of Science as a member of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars. My coursework has included research methods, statistical analysis, ethics and a variety of classes from the sociology and psychology disciplines. I graduated from Houston Baptist University in 2016 with a Masters in Psychology. I became Licensed Clinician in Texas and have over 10 years of experience in a variety of disciplines including research, clinical support, program development, and psychological services.Currently, I live and work in California and have a passion for helping marginalized populations most recently working with clients with Intellectual Disabilities and ASD. My experience includes working a wide range of cognitive abilities and severity of diagnoses in inpatient and outpatient settings. My interests are working with issues involving anxiety, depression, adjustment issues, grief, stress management, marriage and family systems, sexual adjustment, process and psycho-educational groups. With a foundation in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, I have a compassionate, collaborative approach, encouraging psycho education and awareness of cognitive and behavioral patterns. I am mindful of meeting a person where they are, and helping to facilitate change in their life.
