A NZ (MFAT) funded project in Zambia, privately contracted to international development company. Mentored Zambian dairy extension teams in the Copperbelt and Central Provinces to improve the capability of smallholder dairy farmers.Project managed stakeholder relationships between local and international dairy processors, government advisors and international aid project leads across the dairy supply chain. This was enabled by building trust between and within organisations which accelerated the opportunities for small-holder dairy farmers and the dairy supply chain to collectively achieve their goals.Supported enterprise through technical and strategic advice for diversification including small scale horticultural production, honey, sunflower, animal feed, silage contracting, indigenous dairy products and artificial insemination services.Developed SOPs and policy guidelines for 6 milk collection centres, and implemented monitoring and evaluation frameworks for farmer led focus farms.Provided monthly reports against the outcomes outlined in the Aid Programme Design Brief, including both quantitative and qualitative data as well as recommendations where appropriate.

Project managed the FarmFX Programme to provide experiences and education for urban students to understand the opportunities in the food supply chain.
