Key Achievement: Achieved extensive national press coverage in the Sydney Morning Herald and Australian Financial Review, as well as tech and recruitment blogs, positioning Atlassian as an ‘Employer of Choice’ in Australia; this also resulted in the successful hiring of over 40 employees within just 3 months.As Marketing and Communications Manager, key responsibilities and accountability surrounded the development and execution of high impact marketing and PR strategies, to ensure boosted market share and visibility of Atlassian. This involved managing all local marketing content and promotional material, accountability for all local PR and media (including social media) initiatives, coordinating sponsorships, tradeshows, product launches and other marketing events, as well as implementing internal communication strategies (in conjunction with HR leader) to maintain employee engagement and a consistent brand within the business.
