• Attained Pennsylvania Library Association’s PA Forward Gold Star Library Status• Library selected as one of 17 participants by Office of Commonwealth Libraries in two-year LSTA-funded Harwood Institute training process; as a result several community conversations and surveys have influenced library operations and programs. (2017)• Attended and participated in National Library Legislative Day as part of PA delegation (2017, 2019)• Attended and participated in Pennsylvania Libraries move PA Forward! Legislative Day at Pennsylvania Library Association Conference in Harrisburg (2018, 2022)• Gained 1.5 full-time municipal-funded positions for library (2018)• Awarded $215,000 Keystone Grant from the Office of Commonwealth Libraries for capital improvements (2019).• Completed $300,000 renovation of 352 sq ft Maker Space (divided former staff office) to 592 sq ft Learning Lab, using donated funds (January 2020)• Selected for week-long, LSTA-grant funded Effective Facilitator intensive training course (early March 2020)• Successfully pivoted library services during COVID to meet the constantly changing needs and lockdown requirements (2020-21)• Led library staff and board of trustees through 6-month strategic planning process, resulting in new vision and mission statements for the library and strategic actions to guide programs, materials, services, and community support (2021)• Successfully advocated for Library Board of Trustees to approve the elimination of overdue fines for Mt.
