With a passion for helping people who do great work to win more work, I have three decades’ experience in helping professional services firms, commercial businesses and non-profit organisations to position their value and to win highly competitive contracts through bids and tenders. From 2001-2019 I maintained a long-term consulting practice as a business development advisor, where my clients won and retained hundreds of millions of dollars worth of business with many of Australia’s largest corporate and government buyers. I worked as a professional speaker and trainer with The Executive Connection, Engineering Education Australia and Consult Australia, and authored three books on business development. These include bestseller The Shredder Test - a step-by-step guide to winning proposals; Value - how to talk about what you do so people want to buy it; and Winning Again - a retention game plan for your most important contracts and customers (all available from amazon.com). For more information on my consulting work, go to www.robynhaydon.com.In January 2023 I began a Masters of Counselling at the University of Canberra (part-time), with the aim of contributing to better mental health for LGBTQIA+ couples, families and young people.
