After leaving schooI started my career with Obvious Solution. Obvious provided innovative, candidate-focused recruitment solutions that utilized video and technology-based selection techniques to deliver quality candidates while saving time and cost for employers. My clients included Microsoft, Rare, Amazon, DHL, and HBoS. When Obvious were acquired by StepStone Ltd in 2006 I moved into a Project Co-ordinator position, this involved the organisation and management of UK/European wide interview and assessment events, aswell as screening of candidate applications, conducting telephone and face to face interviews as well as providing assessment scores and feedback.Whilst at StepStone I took secondment role to Implementation Team, as an Implementation Consultant. I was responsible for supporting the successful implementation of University of Kent i-GRasp e-recruitment system.I then moved within Stepstone to the role of Training Consultant this was a challenging role which involved delivering face to face customer training within the i-GRasp e-recruitment business. Customers across all sectors, including Boots, Clifford Chance, Channel 4, Forestry Commission, Her Majesty’s Prison Service, Identity & Passport Service, Marriott, Scottish Local Authority Careers Portal, University of Glasgow.
