I was responsible for the in-house recruitment for the Belfast offices of Genpact as well as EMEIA head hunting projects. My duties included candidate sourcing using LinkedIn and other cv database websites. I was responsible for advertisement of vacancies through the Genpact website and other channels. I screened candidates over the phone prior to shortlisting and conducted the interviews for successful candidates. I organised the background checks, references and provided on-boarding services. I maintained regular contact with University contacts and organised Careers Fairs. From there I was headhunted to move to EY’s Talent Acquisition team.

I was one of the Recruiters for Keys Group who provide childcare personnel for children and young people who have complex needs – emotional, behavioural social, learning or physical needs. I was responsible for managing recruitment for multiple homes and schools which had high attrition rates. I posted our advertisements on Indeed as well as local newspapers and conducted background checks on all applicants. There was an extremely high volume of applicants so this was a very demanding but rewarding role. Unfortunately, the Belfast office was closed and amid talks of redundancy I left the role to move to Genpact.

My responsibility in this role was to assist customers in opening, closing and moving their electricity and gas accounts. I provided customer service with bills and took payments over the phones. I was given the role of liaising between the Digital Team and the Home Moves Team, delegating calls to my team. This was a highly intense sales driven role and I consistently hit my monthly targets.

My role in NiJobs was to keep the website’s content up to date, liaising with companies to get their vacancies live. I reformatted company logos for the NiJobs website. I covered the reception, providing customer service over the phone and by email when required and booked transport and accommodation for visitors.

I was the receptionist for Jobs.ie, Irishjobs and Candidate Manager who all fall under the Saongroup umbrella. I was the first point of contact for all calls, emails and visitors, providing excellent customer service. I sent invoices as well as organising stationary and toiletries. I organised the post using the franking machine and couriers. I booked transport, accommodation and catering for meetings. In 2015 I relocated to Belfast to work for Nijobs which is also part of Saongroup.

Assisted customers in their purchases as well as merchanding and cleaning.

I dealt with data verification, liaising with branch managers and customers. There were elements of data entry along with customer service and administration.
