I lead the operation and business of the Tech She Can charity. We are a small but mighty team with the backing of over 200 member organisations that support the charity and an excellent board of trustees.My previous roles at PwC from recruitment to employer branding and tech marketing span 11 years and this led me to help to set up Tech She Can in 2018 with Sheridan Ash MBE and in 2021 we gained charity status.Tech She Can aims to improve the gender imbalance in technology roles in the UK. It was created following PwC’s Time to close the gender gap research in 2017 which told us only 3% of females said a career in technology would be their first choice. The members and supporters of Tech She Can recognise that this is an important society problem that can only be solved by taking coordinated action to improve the pipeline of females looking to pursue a career in technology.
