**Why Coaching?I founded International Coach Academy after many years working in education and consulting across a range of industries. I saw that no matter how great the training was, or how great the skill of the consultant, deep sustainable change at an individual level was hard to achieve. That is until coaching cam along.Blending coaching with training integrates knowledge and enables people to experience and reflect on their new skills with feedback and support. Likewise, conducting consulting with a coach approach results in stronger and more permanent results because clients take ownership of both the process and the outcomes.**Professionally- I have consulted, trained and coached for arts-based not-for-profits, universities and training institutions, peak bodies and multinational companies such as Holden and Kodak. - I have worked in language and literacy education, Deaf education and community based training.- I am an experienced coach specialising in small business development and career transition- I have established and run 3 successful businesses and mentored others to do the same** PersonallyI live in Melbourne Victoria with two beautiful children, 18 yrs and 20 yrs. I love to travel, swim, cook etc. - all the good and simple pleasures of life :)
