In addition to the numerous skills which I have learnt and nurtured during this role, as well as the skills gained from emigrating to Dubai in general, I have also been able to apply my pre-existing skills to the job.On a daily basis, I mediate between clients in order to prevent/resolve any conflict , draft and amend contracts and ensure I am aware of , and complying with UAE leasing law. I have had to learn all about property on the Palm Jumeirah in a short time frame , including floor plans , layouts , types , etc. in order to be able to pitch my listings to potential clients , highlighting my eagerness and ability to learn and pick new things up quickly. I have proven my resilience throughout this commission only role by starting in a new country knowing very few people , to having good client relationships in just a matter of months which I will continue to maintain. The role is very self disciplined therefore I have to remain organised and plan my days to ensure I get everything done that I task myself to do, I also have to liase my diary with clients to be able to fit in their requested appointment times which requires being flexible with my schedule. Real estate is a high pressure environment where we have to work to meet deadlines and also co-operate welI as a team to ensue the most success, I have a great relationship with all of my colleagues which is something that I always pride myself on . My communication skills have improved massively within the role as everyday, I am mixing with individuals of completely different backgrounds and cultures.The whole lettings process which starts with the initial phone call with the landlord, to the advertising and marketing of the property , to the pushing out to potential clients , to the viewings conducted , to the day to day admin , to the offer negotiation, to the contract mediation, and handover of keys is all completed by myself ,showing my ability to multi-task and provide a high end service.

As a Sales Negotiator at Andrew Louis I would greet clients as the face of the company, book and conduct viewings for properties, and negotiate offers by liaising with prospective buyers and vendors, amongst other day to day admin tasks such as answering incoming calls from clients, diary management etc. I was also given on the job training to become a Valuer which involved generating new business for valuations, booking and conducting market appraisals, further research using databases such as ‘Rightmove Plus’ and ‘Zoopla Plus’, in order to compose a full valuation report and listing new instructions. During my short time at Andrew Louis/Homesure I have learnt so much about the property industry and I am so excited to keep growing and learning more.
