Responsible for gathering evidence for and writing up the impact of a health systems research cluster for a case study to be submitted for REF2021 (UK university research audit system)

Researcher on a number of projects relating to public health, health systems and health systems governance including:- Member of research team working on a consultancy project to build tools to help evaluate the value of a health technology assessment (HTA) agency in a low/middle-income country. Responsible for interviewing international stakeholders and developing understanding of the pathways through which broader benefits of having an HTA agency are realised. - Evidence synthesis of how financial redress schemes have been implemented in international contexts- Functional Population Pyramids: this research focussed on demographic change in Scotland and its consequences in terms of health care utilisation and the possible benefits of initiating an early years initiative in this scenario. Visualising these ideas through the use of "Functional Population Pyramids" in order to obtain a clearer picture of how society is changing is central to this work.
