About Robyn Larkin
I'm an organization machine! Because I excel at being organized, I can make things happen. From project planning to event management, organizing volunteers for a short term or long term effort, or even planning and implementing (then teaching) a day camp for 20 children, I love a good challenge! My true joy is when all the hard work comes together and final, finished, professional product is the result. My personality is such that I enjoy working in places that allow me to fuel my passions, whether they are to learn something new, do something good for the environment, share my knowledge with others, support animals or be an advocate for a person/place/business. I demand much of myself in my work, and I expect others to also put their best effort forward. On a personal note, I have a strong interest in travel, and my husband and I love to enjoy vacations in new countries. I often try to learn a bit of the language of the country where we are going. My most recent interest is running, and since I started this adventure in January 2014, I have run multiple marathons and half marathons, even qualifying for the Marathon Maniacs. As a student fresh out of college, I spent the summer of 1998 backpacking the Appalachian Trail (solo). Clearly I am an adventurous, goal-oriented person who is not afraid of tacking large challenges, whether it is my personal or professional life.
