Preparation of final product packing materials, including containers, vacuum bags, sleeves, syringes, and other relevant materials. Ensuring sterility of first-layer packaging materials.Preparation and printing of all product labels.Moisture content testing of all lyophilized products.Re-loading of freeze-drier & re-testing as required.Packaging of final product according to pre-determined specifications, including measuring and weighing of product where applicable.Appropriate labeling of products on the inner and outer packaging.Assistance with preparation of products list/delivery note and preparation of dispatch containers.Assistance with consumable stock control.Assistance with inventory (final product) stock control.Assistance to the QC Technician as required.Assist with Adhoc tasks in streamlining the day-to-day functioning of Vitanova.Preparation of specialized products, including milled products and syringes.Cooking & preparation of collagen products.Assist with skin processing & packaging.Duties are such that there will be contact with human tissue and bone which may be consideredinfectious; use of PPE is required in all work areas and adherence to safety data sheets is required. Adhere to current procedures in executing tasks and report all exceptions to Tissue Bank Manager in a timely manner.Maintains legible and accurate documentation on all hard copy forms related to production.Responsible for following guidelines for a safe working environment and reporting unsafe conditions to the Production Manager. Ensure all work is carried out to quality and specification requirements and that documentation is completed on time.Comply, understand, and practice safety during all work functions as stipulated in the Safety Procedures of the Tissue Bank.Safe handling and disposal of chemicals and medical waste.Adhere to the Health & Safety requirements and standards of the Tissue Bank.Do safety checks on instrumentation before use.
