- created a dashboard for the Marketing department that will allow the user to create reports about contacts from different brokerages.- created a utility to facilitate the input of tax information to the database for use in quarterly or annual tax audits for various states. interfaces with FSLSO and MSLA.- created a utility to update frequently used lookup and cross reference tables. changes would have otherwise been scripted, which was too time consuming.- created a utility to automatically send emails to brokers notifying them when a policy was due to expire. it also facilitates sending state mandated letters and letters of non renewal to brokers by interfacing with Simple Certified Mail's API to outsource the task of stuffing envelopes.- primarily used Java and AngularJS to create applications.- worked within a Spring architecture model.- created user guides for applications using screenshots and limiting the amount of technical jargon.- gathered ideas and recommendations from colleagues to ensure optimal application performance.- triaged tickets, researched log files to determine root causes of problems, requested assistance from subject matter experts when the problem was outside of my scope of knowledge.
