My role at Afcona Additives expanded in the summer of 2017 when the company hired additional laboratory staff. I was responsible for staff training, general laboratory management, and delegation of project tasks. Additionally, I assumed responsibility of general office management duties including usage of QuickBooks, processing purchase orders, handling sample requests, and completing client payments. Economic difficulties resulted in a dramatic restructuring of laboratory usage and ensuing layoffs ended my time with Afcona Additives in December 2018.

In the summer of 2016, I was recruited to pursue an exciting opportunity at a local startup to establish a technical service laboratory.
