About Robyn Segrest

I am a passionate educator who finds fulfillment in teaching skills that can help individuals define and achieve their life goals. Whether it is a career in the IT field, or they are simply passing through my classroom it is important to give every student the tools to succeed in life by teaching them valuable high-demand skill sets. Over the course of my 18-year career in education, I have implemented professional certification programs, a dual-credit Information Technology program, and founded a highly successful FIRST Robotics team. I have worked with the Texas Education Agency (TEA) as a Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) and curriculum scope and sequence author, a New Teacher Trainer for IT Instructors, and testified before the Texas State Board of Education (SBOE) regarding the proposal of new IT curriculum standards.
