I have been a welding student throughout my years in high school and have continued my learning through my college studies. In high school i attended the Vo-tech program for welding which i started my sophomore year. Throughout these years i learned how to MIG, TIG, SMAW, and oxy-fuel weld. I also had learned about the oxy-fuel and plasma cutting processes. This allowed me to at the end of my senior year score advanced on my NOCTI skills test.Within the beginning of my courses at PCT I have been able to expand upon what i have learned in high school through lecture in my major classes. These have helped me in understanding what is actually happening and how to improve welds. The extra time I have spent in class at college is truly helping me to become not only a better welder but a more well rounded individual that is knowledgeable in more than one aspect.
