I have over 13 years of experience providing audit and consulting services to financial institutions and financial service companies. This experience includes developing internal audit programs and systems, FDICIA/SOX implementation including designs and reviews, consulting and external audit for financial services companies including but not limited to financial institutions, asset management companies, and investment funds (common trust funds, collective investment funds, private equity funds, hedge funds and real estate funds). I am a member of the American Institute of CPAs and Pennsylvania CPA Society. I have been nominated to the PICPA council for a two year rotation starting May 2023, and I'm serving as part of the PICPA's Banking and Finance Committee. I serve as a member on the National Internal Audit Committee and the National Asset Management Subcommittee. I lead the firm's FDICIA task force, which focuses on improving client experience to achieve compliance with Part 363. Also I was selected to participate in the firm's SKY protege program which identifies top women leaders throughout the firm to provide individualized mentorship and guidance to promote diversity and inclusion in the firm's leadership. I have recently served as the office parental leave coordinator and the office data mining specialist. I have assisted with several firmwide trainings, including Camp BKD and financial services in-charge training.In 2021, I won the BKD Financial Services Don Hutson award for my leadership to the firm and dedication to provide unmatched client service to integrated financial institutions. I also won the Houston office Blake Randolph award for having an entrepreneurial mindset. I graduated summa cum laude from Stephen F. Austin State University, Nacogdoches, Texas, in 2010 with a B.A. degree in accounting and from Old Dominion University, Norfolk, Virginia, in 2011 with an M.Acc. degree. In 2016, I completed the Texas Tech University School of Banking program.
