Founded Zippy Robotics to provide people with the tools to turn ideas into reality. Our first product, Prometheus, is a desktop machine that creates circuit boards through a milling process and our intuitive software. Once you have a PCB design, you can make it with Prometheus and hold it in a matter of minutes. Due to a thoughtful and innovative design, we can price Prometheus at one-quarter the price of other professional solutions and still provide the superb quality and performance that's demanded in a professional environment.- Designed the custom motor controller electronics and firmware that power Prometheus. Controller based on Atmel's SAM4S and SAMD21 ARM line of MCUs.- Created a Java API and protocol to communicate with Prometheus, in ways not limited to G-code.- Designed over 15 versions of Prometheus in CAD, with custom machined parts and fabricated sheet metal parts.- Built six of those versions, some of which were demonstrated at Maker Faires in New York and California, and SXSW in Austin.- Invented a spindle with an unbelievable combination of accuracy and affordability. Off-the-shelf spindles that match our spindle's high RPM and TIR specs would cost approximately 10 times more.- Designed and wrote ProCAM - our desktop software that allows users to import industry-standard Gerber files of their PCB designs and create them with Prometheus. Written in JavaFX for a modern look and feel.- Wrote the tool-path generation algorithm for ProCAM which doesn't rely on third-party libraries for the computational geometry. It has shown to be two orders of magnitude faster than other available solutions in particular cases.- Received press in Design News, EDN, All About Circuits, Make, Geeky Gadgets, and Atmel Bits and Pieces.

Operated the particle accelerators for the Collider-Accelerator Department, including RHIC (the Relativistic Heavy-Ion Collider), as a member of a two or three-person team. Responsibilities included optimizing beam conditions and collisions for the experiments, ensuring personnel and equipment safety during operation, monitoring alarms, and troubleshooting failures. Wrote various software utilities to address inefficiencies and for data analysis. Was active in studying and optimizing the performance of the AGS polarization jump quadrupoles, which are used to minimize the beam's polarization loss through the AGS.

Supported the development and implementation of Samoset's proprietary products and services. Primary responsibilities included writing financial analysis software in APL and designing charts to display financial data for client reports.
