As the authoritative technical resource provided oversight and subject matter expertise for the maintenance, support, and development of LexisNexis ATG e-commerce systems for seven international on-line stores, including the US, UK, and Canada. Provided technical leadership for the development of the LexisNexis eBooks fulfillment program and architected its replacement. Led the development efforts for the implementation of the LexisNexis Canada on-line store as well as the LexisNexis Practice Management store. Oversaw the migration of the LexisNexis on-line store from ATG 9.1 to ATG 9.4 in cooperation with Reed Elsevier resources. Provided technical oversight for a major homepage redesign of the LexisNexis US on-line store as well as the implementation of ATG abandoned order services. Worked closely with marketing teams in the US, Canada, and Australia to develop effective targeted marketing leveraging ATG’s personalization tools.

Participated in a major re-platforming of the Musician's Friend, Music 123, and Woodwind & Brasswind. Worked closely with business stakeholders during the development of multiple eCommerce sites that include multi-channel commerce, social commerce, and personalization.Involved through all stages of the process including requirements gathering, technical design, development and process management.Responsible for the design and implementation of order data flow between the eCommerce sites and the ERP system, including new order creation, order updates, and self-service returns.Responsible for ensuring that product, pricing, and inventory data are maintained in sync between the product information management system and the eCommerce sites, frequently collaborating with marketers and product information managers. Responsible for maintaining the system used by merchants to manage promotions, personalization, and targeting on the eCommerce sites, a role that includes system administration and working closely with merchants and promotions managers to establish schedules and priorities.

The team was responsible for maintaining and enhancing several web-based applications, including: 1. ArticleWorks: a Digital Rights Management and print-on-demand system for web-based content owners. 2. RapidReview: an online peer review system serving over 30 scholarly publishers. 3. Publication Fee Services: a web-based fee collection system. Collected over $1 million in fees for scholarly publishers. 4. Automated Reprint Ordering Services: a reprints ordering system leveraging several existing platforms and ArticleWorks.Led presentations and product demos to journal customers and scholarly societies.Accompanied sales teams on customer visits and provided technical expertise. Worked extensively with business stakeholders to shepherd development projects from inception to completion. Participated in requirements gathering, wrote use cases, developed functional specs, and wrote test cases. Directed development efforts and coordinated tasks and schedules. Oversaw quality assurance associates and contractors. Was responsible for hiring and for performance evaluations.
