As a helper, I worked alongside my father, who is a skilled carpenter and my brothers on many remodeling projects. My brother, the owner of JJ Remodeling, partakes in all kinds of remodeling and reconstruction as a separate contractor as well as with Echo Custom Homes, a Houston based residential construction firm. In addition to being a helper, I am also in charge of the technological part of work, communication with builders and creating documents such as invoices, estimates, etc.

As a tech, I was part of different crews including the water, tornado, fire and smoke damage crew. I helped prepare equipment at the shop, as well as on jobsites, which would be used to restore the building, or house, making it habitable for the owners and families after disaster.
