As the Specialist for Rail Sustaining Capital, Business Interruptions team I provide support and drive synergies between multiple strategic Rail capital projects reducing the cost of impact to rail operations. • Guide and support Project Managers in planning, progress tracking and delivery of complex, multidisciplinary work programmes.• Engage with external contract teams through leading Project Readiness meetings and Major Shut Planning.• Communication distribution to the business through Operating Instructions, Operating Notices, Banners for all impacts and changes to rail operations implemented by Sustaining Capital• Align and integrate all Rail Capital Projects that will have an interruption to the business into the Annual Plan and the Quarterly Forecast, adhering to business strategy, framework, and guidance. • Engagement with Rail stakeholders for planning and logistics of Rail Operations resources to support Commissioning Events.• Operational readiness with Rail Operations and Maintenance teams for Sustaining Capital projects• Lead lessons learnt sessions for projects and external contractors to identify risks from previous commissioning and major shut events. Following up with all action owners that all proposed improvements are implemented.
