    As an HR Analyst, I prepared merit promotion announcements. Ensured all announcements contained valid and accurate descriptions of the knowledge, skills, abilities, education and training required for each position. Ensured the announcements contained all the regulatory and statutory provisions required by law and by the VA. Each announcement was different and some announcements were more complex than others and involved technical requirements. Did an overview of the draft announcements and sent to the respective supervisors for their review and approval prior to sending the posting of the announcements to HR/MACS to post on USA Staffing. . After the closing date of the announcement, reviewed information on each certificate. Provided supervisor with instructions necessary to comply with the statutory and regulatory obligations of the selection process. Provided files and paperwork to the HR office to complete the in-processing of the new hire. Used the VA WEBHR system to input new recruitment documents to be prepared for the announcement according to Federal Government Standards. Communicated daily with applicants, employees, co-workers and supervisors on various HR topics. Some of my duties were performed independently. Performed internal and external placement duties including conducting job analysis. Classified positions in accordance with OPM Classification standards wrote evaluation statements if needed. I assist the Managers with examining resumes and used an excel format for evaluating and ranking each applicant. Assist with performance appraisal and managed the tracking of submissions for each pillar. As an experienced and accomplished HR Analyst, I managed multiple audits simultaneously; coordinating with the accounting department of the VA; overseeing the audits approach, time, and reporting requirements; and establishing work strategies. These efforts identified substantial monetary recoveries.
