Rochelle is an aspiring solicitor completing the SQE1&2 Diploma at BPP Law School on a Career Commitment Scholarship. She graduated with Upper Second Class Honours in LLB Law from City, University of London, where she held leadership roles as Head of Societies at The City Law School, President of City Women in Law Society, and Editor-in-Chief of the Pro Bono Gazette. She also founded the EmpowHER mentoring scheme at City, connecting aspiring female lawyers with alumnae mentors, and twice received the ‘Best Contribution to Student Community’ Prize.Recognised as a targetjobs ‘Future Lawyer of the Year’ Finalist (2023) and a Next 100 Years ‘Law Student of the Year’ Nominee (2024), Rochelle brings strong legal experience from her work experience placements and internships at Spector Constant & Williams, CityCLAC, and Petrou & Co Solicitors. Her commitment to DEI is evident in her role on the Operational Committee of the Association of British Tamil Lawyers (where she was its first Student Ambassador) and as a board member of the Future Board at O Shaped. Beyond law, she volunteers with Girlguiding UK, leading her local Brownies unit.With a focus on pursuing her interests in intellectual property, data protection, and privacy law, Rochelle is actively seeking a training contract with a forward-thinking firm.
