Rochelle L. Phillips is a recent Spring 2022 Graduate of Spelman College, a historically Black college for women in Atlanta, Georgia, where she earned her B.A. in Dance Performance and Choreography. She began her college education at University of the Arts in Philadelphia, PA on scholarship, where she completed her freshman year of college. Phillips is currently a school of dance M.F.A candidate at Florida State University. She was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia and has been training since she was two years old. Phillips started her training at the Conservatory of Dance and Fine Arts where she trained in ballet, jazz, hip hop, modern, contemporary, lyrical, tap, and acrobatics and continued at Infinite Dance Theater. Phillips graduated from high school at Dekalb School of the Arts in 2018. Phillips has applied her knowledge by assisting with choreography at Komansé Dance Theater, a professional dance company in Atlanta, Georgia, as well as performing in and around Atlanta, GA.
