25+ years of experience spanning all aspects of Event Production, Fundraising, and the Marketing Management fields, starting my career in strategy/goal planning, advertising, sales support, sales collateral/RFP writing and development, contact management/sales reporting systems, direct mail/telemarketing campaigns, trade shows/special events, web site development, promotional/incentive items, corporate brand/identity management. Seven years+ of departmental and staff management, including overseeing marketing and sales support staff, developing individual goal plans, performance evaluations and management of $1.5MM+ annual budgets. Past employers include leading software developers for network solutions and healthcare financial decision support systems.Having joined the LA Phil in 2014, I’ve managed event production within the Philanthropy department for two of our most significant fundraisers: Hollywood Bowl Opening Night and Winter Gala at the Walt Disney Concert Hall, with attendance at both events ranging from 500 to over 1,000. Year-round events include invitational rehearsals, artist salons, and major donor dinners. In 2023, I transitioned to the Annual Giving team, working directly with donors through our Friends and Patrons of the LA Phil membership program, while providing the team with event and administrative management support.Previously employed in the entertainment/education non-profit field within the Development/Annual Giving Department for the American Film Institute.
